Mysore/Mysuru: Leading up to the Brand Mysuru Fest scheduled for Jan. 26 at the Open Air Theatre in Manasagangothri campus, a ‘Chitra Santhe’ event is set to take place from Jan. 26 to 28 on the road in front of the Clock Tower at Gangothri.

This event aims to promote tourism in Mysuru and enhance the cultural experience for both locals and visitors.

The Brand Mysuru Fest is anticipated to be a lively celebration, bringing together the community to explore and appreciate the rich cultural heritage and global appeal of the Mysuru region.

The ‘Chitra Santhe’ will feature themes centred around the tourist attractions in Mysuru, cultural traditions and the arts.

Those interested in participating in ‘Chitra Santhe’ can submit their entries by filling out the forms available at https://forms.gle/M4LJ2dsXfkBEgmZn9 from Jan. 8 to 16. No entries will be accepted after Jan. 16.

A selection committee will review the entries and a chance to participate in the ‘Chitra Santhe’ will be given to 30 artists.

This event serves as a unique opportunity for artists and enthusiasts to showcase their talents and contribute to the vibrant cultural tapestry of Mysuru, according to Tourism Department Assistant Director T.K. Harish.
