Chottangada Seethamma Madappa (Kandrathanda – Cinty), wife of Late Hony Capt. C.P. Madappa, passed away in the early hours of today at Bengaluru. She was 95.
She is survived by son Raj Madappa, daughter Dr. Cuckoo Aiyappa (Manduda), daughters-in-law Dr. Sumithra Raj and Nirupa Madappa, grandchildren Meghana and Tanavi and a host of relatives and friends.
Her son late Major Ganesh Madappa (SC – posthumous) had predeceased her.
Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.
