Mysuru: Under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Christ College, Srirampura in the city, has organised Christ Mysuru Marathon on Feb. 1 at 5.30 am.

Speaking to media persons at Patrakarthara Bhavana recently, Coordinator Robin Sharathkumar said the marathon is being organised to create awareness among youths against substance abuse. The participants aged above 15 years can take part in the marathon, organised separately for women and men for 10.5 km and 5 km respectively.

First prize winners will get Rs. 10,000 cash prize, second prize- Rs. 5,000 and third and fourth prizes – Rs. 3,000 each, along with medal and certificate.

The marathon will be flagged off from Christ College campus and pass through Vivekananda Circle, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Circle, Outer Ring Road junction, Dattagalli, H.D. Kote Road, before culminating at College campus.
