CII to hold session on empowering MSMEs through simplified finance

Mysore/Mysuru: Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are poised to play a pivotal role in India’s journey towards achieving a 5 trillion-dollar economy. However, the challenges they face in terms of accessing timely finance and resources have impeded their growth potential. 

To address this issue, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Mysuru is organising a session on ‘Empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through  Simplified Finance.’

Scheduled for Sept. 1, 2023, from 2 pm to 6 pm at Hotel Southern Star, the session aims to highlight key strategies that can uplift the growth trajectory of MSMEs. Recognising the importance of streamlined financial processes, leveraging government initiatives, and ensuring sustainable growth, the event aims to facilitate improved access to finance for the sector.

The session will cover a range of pertinent topics, including the current business landscape, opportunities, and challenges faced by MSMEs. Additionally, it will delve into innovative financing solutions, ease of finance access, Government schemes and inspiring success stories from entrepreneurs who have surmounted challenges to achieve remarkable growth.

Speakers include T. Dinesh, Joint Director of District Industries Centre, Ketan Gaikwad, Managing Director and CEO of Receivables Exchange of India, Satyaki Rastogi, General Manager and Regional Head of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), Ramesh Sagayaraj, Zonal Head – South, Business Banking Group, RBL Bank and V.C. Raju, Senior Vice President – Treasury, South, RBL Bank. 

Sam Cherian, Chairman of CII Mysuru Zone, S. Ranganathan, Chief Financial Officer of Automotive Axles R. Devanathan, Chief Financial Officer of N. Ranga Rao and Sons and Utsav Agarwal, Director of Bhoruka Fabcons will also speak.
