CII’s session with “Women Scientists of ISRO” on Aug. 21

Mysuru: The amazing success of the Mangalyaan Mission of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has brought not only worldwide attention but also national pride and glory. Within an astonishing 15 months from the day it was announced the team at ISRO conceptualised, planned and implemented the mission successfully, sending off the autorickshaw-sized satellite on a journey of 660 million km and 300 days.

The Women Forum of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mysuru Zone, has organised a special interactive session with “Women Scientists of ISRO” who were behind India’s acclaimed Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) or Mangalyaan Mission, at a programme to be held at L&T Learning Centre in Hebbal Industrial Area, here on Aug. 21 between 3.15 pm and 5.15 pm.

B.P. Dakshayani, Group Director – Flight Dynamics Group; S. Padmasree, Dy. Project Director – Sensors Subsystem; Anatta Sonney, Head – LEO & Interplanetary Orbit Dynamics Section of Flight Dynamics and S. Padmashree, Junior Engineer from ISRO Satellite Centre, Bengaluru, will address and interact with members of CII Mysuru.
