City Architecture School ties up with Liverpool Varsity

Mysore School of Architecture (MSA) has signed an MoU on Mar.17 with the School of Architecture, University of Liverpool, UK, for taking up a project on Heritage documentation.

The first project is a comprehensive documentation of the Kashi Viswanath Temple in Srirangapatna. The documentation team from MSA and University of Liverpool will be submitting a report to the authorities.

The management team of  MSA is establishing a “Research Centre” for Architects, Historians and other scholars to pursue Heritage documentation studies.

Prof. D.S. Ramakrishna Rao, Dean and Design Chair of MSA disclosed to reporters here that this MoU will have far-reaching outcome as Liverpool School of  Architecture is more than 100- years-old and can offer support both in terms of visiting staff and opportunities for our students.

Principal Prof. S. Sapna thanked the participating teams for their unstinted co-operation in the project.
