City buses to stop at Hardinge Circle

March 3, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: The city Bus stop facility at Hardinge Circle (Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Circle) in the heart of the city, which was withdrawn by the Traffic Police a couple of days ago due to several traffic constraints, has resumed with effect from Monday.

Accordingly, city buses coming from Basaveshwara Circle (Pathashala Signal), B.N Road and other directions, will stop at Hardinge Circle to facilitate alighting/boarding.

The Traffic Police, citing several traffic issues, had banned stopping of buses at the Circle, following which commuters exerted pressure on KSRTC Authorities to stop buses at the Circle as it was most convenient for them.

Following appeals from the KSRTC and members of the public, the Traffic Police have withdrawn the ban on bus stop, which has come as a big relief to city bus commuters as well as commuters travelling to different destinations such as T. Narasipur, Nanjangud, Kollegal, Chamarajanagar, etc.
