The cyclists from Cycling My Sooru Training Academy, Nivedithanagar, Mysuru, excelled at the 15th State-level MTB Cycling Championship 2019 held at Vijayapura by securing five Gold medals, two Silver medals and four Bronze medals in different age categories.

The winners are — N. Kamalraj – Elite Men Category – 2 Gold medals [Individual Time Trials (ITT) and Mass Start]; Tejasvi – Elite Men Category – 1 Silver medal [Mass Start]; Adonis K. Tangpu – U-18 Category – 2 Gold medals [ITT and Mass Start]; Charith Gowda – U-16 Category – 1 Silver medal [ITT] and 1 Gold medal [Mass Start]; V. Hasmukh – U-16 Category – 1 Bronze medal [Mass Start]; Karen Marshall – U-14 Category – 2 Bronze medals [ITT and Mass Start] and U-16 Category – 1 Bronze medal.

Kamalraj has won the gold medal with a time gap of 5 minutes in four laps event where one lap distance is 4.5kms.

Elite men: ITT – 9kms, Mass Start – 18kms; Under 18 years : ITT – 9kms, Mass Start – 13.5kms; Under 16 years : ITT – 4.5kms, Mass Start – 9kms; Under 14 years : ITT – 4.5kms, Mass Start – 4.5kms.
