Mysuru: The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) has invited Dr. Bogadi Prashanth, Joint Replacement Surgeon, Manipal Hospital, Mysuru, as an International Faculty for its upcoming international annual meeting at San Diego Convention Centre, California, USA, commencing Mar. 10, 2025.

He will be moderating a session titled “Technology in Total Knee Arthroplasty” alongside Dr. Elie Ghanem from Columbia, which focuses on Latest Technology in Total Knee Replacements covering Robotic knee replacements, their benefits, long term results and patient satisfaction besides Computer Assisted Surgery. 

A total of thirteen clinical papers from major Orthopaedic institutes, along with video presentations related to this topic, are being covered in the session.

Dr. Prashanth has had Robotics training in Europe and currently serves as a Committee Member of Adult Knee Reconstruction of AAOS (2023-2026). He is also the recipient of AAOS Senior Achievement Award given to recognise outstanding Orthopaedic Surgeons who volunteer their time and energy to the entire Orthopaedic community.
