City fighters excel in kickboxing

Students of IKA Karate Academy and Martial Arts, Mysuru, participated in Wako India National Kickboxing Championship which was organised by Wako India Kickboxing Federation between Dec. 21 to 25 in Pune. Four (2 female and 2 male) of them have bagged, 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals respectively. Seen in the picture are (standing from left) T. Chanukya (2 gold medals in point fight and light contact — 79 kg junior category), S. Pooja (silver in light contact — 45 kg junior category), Mohamed Saqeeb Ur Rahman (Head Coach of IKA and Senior Instructor), Abdul Waseem (Head Coach of IKA and Senior Instructor), Lali Vishnu (Instructor and Coach of IKA), S. Keerthana (2 bronze in point fight and light contact — 64 kg junior category) and Nikilesh (bronze in kicklight — 79 kg junior category).
