Mysore/Mysuru: Jagruth Tech, a Mysuru-based waste management company, has brought recognition to the region by winning a Bronze Medal at the Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition (IPITEX).
Held in Thailand from Jan. 5 to 9, IPITEX showcased promising inventions and innovations by international inventors, aimed at fostering collaboration between Thai and global innovators and organisations. The medal was conferred on Jagruth Tech following an evaluation by experts from National Research Council of Thailand, recognising the company’s patented technology.
Among nearly 800 inventors from 20 countries, Jagruth Tech’s innovation stood out for its focus on converting non-recyclable plastic waste into sustainable construction products.
The company has developed a solution to recycle single-use, low-value plastic waste by converting it into low-carbon-footprint products such as interlocking pavers and plywood alternative sheets. It collaborates with MCC to recycle plastic waste produced daily.
