Mysore/Mysuru: City student Kalpana Kuttappa has been selected to take part in the World Skating Championship to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, between Oct. 24 and Nov. 14, 2022. She is one among the 19 members who will take part in the Championship.

Kalpana has excelled in State and National level skating competitions. She bagged three gold medals at the National-level skating competition held at Chandigarh last month. She was selected to the World Skating Championship after bagging a gold medal at the Skating Championship held at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh recently.

Kalpana is pursuing her first PUC at Sapient PU College in Vijayanagar, Mysuru. She is daughter of M.S. Ravi and T.K. Swathi couple, residents of Metagalli.
