City Police gets new website with more information

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru City Police Department has got a new website with more updates, information and design.

The earlier website with the address www.mysore city police.gov.in, has now been changed to www.mysore city police.karnataka.gov.in. 

The website is in both Kannada and English languages and the public can know about the city, City Police Stations and their phone numbers, Knowledge Centre, where the public can know about the procedure to lodge complaints, know about safety tips, enquire about applying for a passport, check passport application status, miscellaneous information etc. Information on events held by the Police, blog and information on RTI can also be known.

Also, the public can know about various traffic rules, one way roads in city, know more about traffic rules violations and the penalties, access Citizens Corner to view images with messages on crime prevention, traffic rules violations etc.

The website has also information on Special Sections — City Crime Branch (CCB), Foreign Section, Mounted Police Company, City Armed Reserve (CAR), Mysuru Police Band and City Crime Record Bureau (CCRB).

Public seeking various information are requested to make use of the new website.
