City Police shine in State-level Police Sports Meet

Mysuru: The City Police personnel, who took part in the State-level Police Annual Sports Meet held in Bengaluru recently, excelled by winning medals in both team and individual events.

The Mysuru City Police team won first place in handball and second place in tug-of-war.

In the individual sports, V.V. Puram Police Constable Shah Rukh Tarihal won first place in javelin throw; Kuvempunagar Women Police Constable K. Ashwini won first place in high jump, second place in long jump and triple jump; Anti-Sabotage Check (ASC) team ASI

Amarnath won second place in 100 mts sprint and third place in 200 mts sprint; City Armed Reserve RSI Parashuram Kamble won third place in shot put. Reserve Police Inspector P. Suresh was the Team Manager and RSI S.G. Tejgopal was the Team Captain.
