Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Vijaylakshmi Dayal, Professor and Head, Department of Physics, Maharaja Institute of Technology-Mysore, will be presenting two scientific research papers at the IEEE International Conference of Magnetism to be held in Sendai, Japan, from May 15 to 19.
IEEE Intermag-2023 is the world’s premier international conference on all aspects of fundamental and applied magnetism. Her research papers are on advanced magnetic materials entitled “Strain Mediated Control over Magnetization in CoFe2O4/STO (001) Thin-Film” and “First Order Magnetic Transition and Magnetocaloric Properties of Pr0.48Sr0.52Mn03: A Charge Ordered Perovskite.”
The Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)-DST, Government of India has granted travel support and MIT-Mysore has recommended financial support for this conference. This support is in recognition of her ongoing research and her creditable research achievements in the field of advanced magnetic materials.
She has published more than 50 research papers in peer-reviewed international and national journals and presented papers at more than 40 conferences. She has been instrumental in receiving various research grants, like the Young Scientist Research Award from BRNS, a Major research project from SERB-DST and UGC-DAE-CSR under Government of India.
