K.M. Shashidhar representing Karnataka in the 12th National ‘A’ chess for Visually Challenged at Mumbai lost his seventh round tie on yesterday. Shashidhar lost to Odisha’s Soundarya Kumar Pradhan. After seven rounds, Shashidhar has secured 2.5 points and is placed 10th in the rankings. K. Makwana Ashvin of Gujarat is in the lead with 6 points. He is followed by Karnataka’s Kishan Gongolli with 5.5 points. Patil Shirish with 5 points is in the third place.
