City school students create individual world records

Mysore/Mysuru: In a first-of-its-kind, five students of a city school created five new individual world records under different categories and brought laurels to Mysuru with their hard work and dedication. 

The five achievers are Mulukutla Mokshada, H.S. Mahesh Kumar, Pruthu P. Advaith, Toshan G. Rao and Asmi A. Bharadwaj, all studying in Purna Chetana School, Mysuru.

Mulukutla Mokshada, a grade VI student, created a world record by chanting all 18 chapters of Bhagavadgita in seven hours and four minutes which is a world record under the category of longest chanting marathon by an individual (minor – female).

H.S. Mahesh Kumar, a grade VII student, created a world record under the category of longest lecture series on Swami Vivekananda by an individual (minor – male) which lasted for 14 hours and 2 minutes.

Pruthu P. Advaith, a grade III student, set a new world under the category of most shlokas recited in 30 minutes by an individual (minor – male). He recited 150 shlokas in 30 minutes.

Toshan G. Rao, a grade IV student, created a world record under the category of the longest keyboard concert by an individual (minor – male) which lasted for 14 hours and 2 minutes.

Asmi A. Bharadwaj, a grade IV student, created a world record for the most assorted digital images identified while blind- folded by an individual (minor- female) in five minutes counted for 349.

All these records were Officially Certified by Elite World Records, Asian Records Academy, and India Records Academy, according to a press release from School Principal B. Priyanka.
