City student selected for Global Summit in New York

Mysore/Mysuru: S. Anish, a 11th grade student of Excel Public School, Mysuru, has been selected by the Junior Academy, an initiative of New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS) Global STEM Alliance (GSA) into its fifth cohort. 

He has also been invited to attend the Global Summit scheduled to be held from July 20 to 22 at New York, USA. 

Anish is one among 900 students from 64 countries and his area of exploration centred on intelligent homes and health challenge that can improve human life. Anish has successfully participated in the virtual four-week boot camp and had submitted the project in collaboration with other young Junior Academy members of various countries.

 He is the son of Dr. Sathish Kumar and Dr. C.S. Vidya, residents of Vijayanagar in city.
