City students excel in South Indian Science Fair-2020

Mysore/Mysuru: Southern India Science Fair (SISF) 2020  jointly organised by Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bengaluru and Directorate of School Education, Chennai, was held between Jan.28 and Feb. 1 at Satyabhama Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai.

Pranav V. Kashyap, IX std. and B. Samarth of VIII std. from VVVS, Mysuru, took part and secured I place at SISF.  They have secured I place in Zonal, Taluk, District and State-level. The topic was “Incredible Sager of Technology.”

Four major areas were displayed in this mega structure like Arduino based radar, voice control Robot, Functions of Drone and working of Tesla car in a tunnel.  The guide teacher for this project was H.S. Veenamurthy, a senior Science teacher of the school.

At the event the model was appreciated by many visitors, Deans of various Departments in Satyabhama, teachers and students of other institutions.
