Mysuru: The Mysuru Chapter of Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), one of the largest entrepreneurial organisations in the world, will be organising a one-day event TiECON, an entrepreneurial summit on Nov. 23 at Hotel Radisson Blu Plaza on M.G. Road in city.
The event aims to bring well- known entrepreneurs, investors, Government Departments, Academia and Venture Capitalists on a common platform.
The event will be inaugurated by K.S. Vishwanathan, Vice- President (Industry Initiative) NASSCOM, Bengaluru. Vijay Menon, Executive Director, TiE Global, MP Pratap Simha and Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G. Sankar will be present.
The day-long event features lectures and discussion from nation’s top entrepreneurs, funders and business leaders. About 500 delegates are expected to participate in the event which also features Start-Up Expo, Networking Lunch and The Pitch Room, where prospective entrepreneurs can pitch for funding, mentoring, etc.
Areas of discussion will include Capital Raising, Starting and Building a Great Company, Challenges-of Agriculture, Food Technology, Wellness, Learning from Failure among others. There will be a specific session of Young Turks from Tier 2 and 3 cities who have made it big in start-up and another session on showcasing Mysuru as the destination for Start-Ups.
Organisers have invited speakers Sadananda Maiya, Founder of Maiyas, Author Aroon Raman, Priyadarshi Mohapatra, India Head Microsoft and other successful entrepreneurs and industry representatives to share their experiences and motivate young entrepreneurs.
