City’s upcoming athletes Sharon Shruthi, a student of St. Anne’s High School and N. Rahul Nayaka, a student of Ideal Jawa Rotary School, Mysuru representing Mysuru in the State U14 Athletic Meet held at Hoskote recently and won medals.

Sharon Shruthi won the gold in the girls U-14 100 mts (13.3 sec) and 200 mts (27.8 sec), N. Rahul Nayaka won the bronze medal in the boys U-14 400 mts (58.3 sec) and 600 mts (1:33.00 sec).

Both the athletes are trained by athletic coach Sandeep Gowda at the Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Mysuru.
