City’s Harish for Kolkata Classic Golf Tournament

Kolkata Classic Golf Tournament returns for its second edition at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club from today. The field is to be headlined by reigning Indian Open Champion S.S.P. Chawrasia along with Rashid Khan, Chikkarangappa, Mukesh Kumar, Chiragh Kumar, Ajeetesh Sandhu, Mithun Perera, Udayan Mane, Honey Baisoya and  Mysuru’s K. Harish.

The Kolkata Classic, the fourth event of the Professional Golf Tour of India’s (PGTI) 2017 season, carries a prize purse of Rs. 40 lakh. The tournament will be played from Mar.21 to 24 with the Pro-Am event scheduled for Mar. 25.

This is a 72-hole stroke-play tournament featuring a field of 126 professionals. The cut will be applied after the first 36 holes. The top 50 players and ties will make halfway cut and continue to play for another 36 holes.
