City’s master athlete B. Basavraju, retired Railway employee, excelled in the recently held 40th State Level Masters Athletic Championship at Mangala Stadium in Mangaluru.
Basavaraju won three gold medals in 400 mts runs, 800 mts run and 1,500 mts run. He has also been selected to take part in the National Level Masters Athletic Meet to be held in Manipur from Feb. 2, 2020.
