NRJ State Sub-Junior Swimming Championship
Mysuru: K. Panishka of Marlin Aquatic Centre, Vijayanagar in city, made a remarkable debut at the NRJ State Sub-Junior Swimming Championship held at Yemmekere in Mangaluru recently by winning a gold medal in the 100 mts butterfly event in Group-D Girls category.
Representing Association of Integrated Mysore Swimmers (AIMS) at the championship, Panishka clocked 01:13.55 sec to secure the first place.
She is selected for National-level swimming championship to be held later this year.
Daughter of S.N. Kumaraswamy and D.A. Kavyashree, residents of SBM Layout in Bogadi, Panishka is coached by K.S. Mahesha at Marlin Aquatic Centre.
