Upcoming tennis player from Mysuru S.D. Prajwal Dev taking part in the India F3 Futures $15,000 ITF Men’s Tennis Tournament at Guwahati, won his first round men’s singles tie against Britain’s Alexis Canter yesterday. Prajwal Dev playing a consistent game beat Alexis Canter 6-4, 6-2 and entered the pre-quarterfinals. In the next round he faces second seed P. Vishnu Vardhan.
Another Mysuru lad C. Vasisht bowed out of the men’s singles event losing to Germany’s Sami Reinwein 2-6, 1-6 in the first round of the tournament.
