Mysuru: With the polls for electing the President of MYMUL (Mysuru Milk Union) scheduled to take place tomorrow (Aug.14), Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has assured former Minister G.T. Devegowda (GTD) of a fair polls.
The poll that was earlier scheduled to take place on Aug.9 was postponed due to lack of quorum, when it was alleged that a political conspiracy was behind the postponement. Ashok was defeated by Mavinahalli Siddegowda in the previous poll held for the President’s post. With Ashok again contesting for the post as a nominated Director, G.T. Devegowda met the CM at the latter’s Dollar’s Colony residence in Bengaluru on Monday night after his (BSY) return from Mysuru and held talks on conducting a fair poll.
