CM assures GTD of fair polls to MYMUL

August 13, 2019

Mysuru:  With the polls for electing the President of MYMUL (Mysuru Milk Union) scheduled to take place tomorrow (Aug.14), Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has assured former Minister G.T. Devegowda (GTD) of a fair polls.

The poll that was earlier scheduled to take place on Aug.9 was postponed due to lack of quorum, when it was alleged that a political conspiracy was behind the postponement. S.C.Ashok, a close relative of CM Yediyurappa was recently nominated as a Director of MYMUL after the BJP came to power in the State.

Ashok was defeated by Mavinahalli Siddegowda in the previous poll held for the President’s post. With Ashok again contesting for the post as a nominated Director, G.T. Devegowda met the CM at the latter’s Dollar’s Colony residence in Bengaluru on Monday night after his (BSY) return from Mysuru and held talks on conducting a fair poll.
