CM directs MUDA to construct LIG houses for poor

CM Siddharamaiah is seen handing over a CA site sanction letter to noted historian Prof. B. Sheik Ali at a programme organised at MUDA premises here yesterday to distribute CA sites to beneficiaries.

Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah has directed the MUDA to construct LIG houses for the poor.

Speaking at a programme organised to distribute CA sites to various associations and organisations at MUDA here yesterday, the CM said that he had already directed MUDA to build 2000 cluster houses and he has now instructed the MUDA to build LIG houses to the poor.

Emphasizing that the CA sites must be used only for the intended purpose, the CM said that MUDA should resume ownership of such CA sites which are used for other purposes.

Lauding the MUDA initiatives for distribution of sites, Siddharamaiah stressed on the need for providing civic amenities and basic infrastructure in all layouts.

A total of 62 CA (Civic Amenities) sites were distributed on the occasion. MUDA Chairman D. Dhruvakumar, District Minister Dr.H.C. Mahadevappa, Mayor M.J. Ravikumar, MLAs Vasu, M.K. Somashekar and H.P. Manjunath, MLC R. Dharmasena, MYLAC Chairman H.A. Venkatesh, ZAK Chairperson Mallige Veeresh, Dr. Yathindra and others were present.
