Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be arriving on a two-day tour of Mysuru district this evening. The CM, who is in Delhi today to launch Karnataka’s leading milk brand, Nandini Milk, will be leaving in a special flight from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi at 4 pm and arrive at Mysore Airport in Mandakalli at 6.30 pm. He will stay overnight in the city.
Tomorrow (Nov. 22) at 11 am, he will be inaugurating Quest Academy at Subhashnagar in the presence of its Chairman and Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara.
Later, the CM will participate in a programme organised in front of Varuna Lake on Mysuru-T. Narasipur Road at 12.15 pm, followed by Maradihundi Gate, Chikkayyana Chatra in Nanjangud taluk. At 6 pm, he will be participating in Kanaka Jayanti organised by Kaginele Kanaka Gurupeetha at Kanaka Bhavan, Siddarthanagar in the city and present Prathibha Puraskar to students.
He will be leaving for Bengaluru by flight from Mysore Airport at 8 pm, according to a press release from Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to CM, K. Chiranjivi.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara will also be arriving in Mysuru this evening. He will be visiting the Office of Mysuru District Hotel Owners Association in Krishnamurthypuram at 5.30 pm.
He will be participating in a programme organised by Mysuru Hotel Owners Credit Co-operative Society as part of Co-operation Week.
The Home Minister will be receiving felicitation, followed by interaction with the hotel owners, according to a press release from Narayan V. Hegde, President of Mysuru Hotel Owners Credit Co-operative Society.
Tomorrow morning, he will attend the inauguration of Quest Academy by the CM.
