CM lists roles for party workers

Bengaluru: Following a call by Union Home Minister and senior party strategist Amit Shah who during his recent three-day visit to the State had asked the State party leaders to effectively organise the BJP at the Booth-level, the Chief Minister (CM) and his Ministerial colleagues have swung into action keeping aside their administrative duties.

CM Basavaraj Bommai, accompanied by his Cabinet colleagues, launched ‘Booth Vijaya’ campaign in city and appealed to all the leaders to strengthen the party at each and every Booth.

“Form a Booth Committee of 100 active key voters and also set up SC/ST, Backward Classes, Women and Youth Morchas at every Booths and work actively. There are Page leaders and Page Committees. Set up all the committees and work continuously for three months. Visit every house four times and inform the voters about the achievements of the State Government and anti-people policies of the Congress party. We must concentrate on those places where we have not won so far,” pointed Bommai addressing the  party workers.

Stating that one can confidently reach the public as a BJP worker, he pointed out that “we are the largest political party in the world and its ideology and policies have been accepted by a very large number of people who have also become its members.”
