CM Siddharamaiah inaugurates new building of Maharani’s College, poses for selfie with students

Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah inaugurated the new building of Maharani’s Commerce and Management College and the adjoining hostel at a function organised at the new college premises on Valmiki Road here this morning.

The CM, who arrived the spot was accorded a warm welcome with ‘Poorna Kumbha’ by women in traditional dress. He was taken in a procession by thousands of Maharani’s College students to the dais.

After inaugurating the new building of the College, the CM symbolically launched the construction of second phase of Maharani’s College building and hostel, VIP Guest House and staff quarters at Jaladarshini premises, PWD building on K.R. Boulevard and new hostel for Maharani’s Arts College at the premises of NR Choultry.

MLA Vasu presided, District In-charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, MLA Kalale Keshvamurthy, ZP President Nayeena Sultana, DC D. Randeep, MUDA Chairman Dhruvakumar and others were present on the occasion.
