CM Siddharamaiah on a two-day visit to Mysuru

To inaugurate Sargur Taluk tomorrow

Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will undertake a two-day tour of Mysuru on Jan.11 and12.

First, he will land at the helipad located behind Vivekananda Hospital at Sargur in H.D. Kote at 11 am on Jan. 11. Later, he will inaugurate various development programmes at a function to be held at the ground located at Cauvery Neeravari Nigama premises.

Later, CM Siddharamaiah will arrive at the Mandakalli Airport in Mysuru in a special helicopter at 1 pm and will travel towards Kadakola. At 2 pm, he will inaugurate and lay foundation stone for various development programmes for both Nanjangud and Varuna constituencies at a function to be organised at Vidyavardhaka College Grounds in Najangud. He will also travel to T. Narasipur to lay foundation for development activities at a function to be held at APMC premises in T. Narasipur after which, he will arrive to Mysuru at 7.30 pm for an overnight stay.

The next day (Jan.12), CM Siddharamaiah will inaugurate the Indira Canteen at CADA office premises in city at 10 am  before leaving for Mandya by helicopter at 11 am.

Sargur Taluk

Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will inaugurate the newly-carved Sargur Taluk tomorrow. The New taluk has been formed after splitting H.D. Kote taluk.

Ahead of the CM’s visit, Mysuru District in-Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa and Chamarajanagar MP R. Dhruvanarayan reviewed the preparations at the venue and the newly-constructed Ambedkar Bhavan at Sargur, which also the CM will inaugurate tomorrow.
Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa said that CM inaugurate a slew of works including the bridge on Itna-Halagudu Road.

Claiming that the Government has sanctioned about Rs. 100 crore for various development works in H.D. Kote Taluk, the Minister also said that the Government has sanctioned Rs. 5 crore for development of roads in the taluk.
