Mysuru: Foundation stone laying ceremony for works taken up by the College & Technical Education Department will be held at Maharaja’s PU College Grounds in city tomorrow (Nov. 13) at 10.30 am.
The works include Maharani’s Women’s Science and Arts College’s Hostel Building and Science College’s new building, costing Rs. 170 crore under Housing Department and Maharani’s Women’s Commerce and Management College’s 3rd and 4th floors and Hostel’s 3rd floor works, costing Rs. 49 crore under Public Works Department.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will lay the foundation stone. Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel H.D. Kumaraswamy, Mysuru District in-Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, Animal Husbandry & Sericulture Minister K. Venkatesh, Higher Education and Chikkaballapur District Minister Dr. M.C. Sudhakar and PWD & Belagavi District Minister Satish Jarkiholi and Housing, Wakf and Minority Development and Ballari & Vijayapura District Minister B.Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan will be the guests of honour.
Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda will preside. Chamarajanagar MP Sunil Bose and Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Wadiyar will be the chief guests, according to a press release.
