CM to lay foundation for Kidwai Cancer Centre in city on Dec. 22

With Chief Minister Siddharamaiah likely to lay the foundation stone for Kidwai Cancer Centre in city on Dec. 22, Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda inspected the site in PKTB Sanatorium premises on KRS Road here on Monday.

Bengaluru’s  Kidwai Mem-orial Institute of Oncology Dean  Dr. Lokesh, Health and Family Welfare Department AEE Doreswamy and other officials were present during the inspection.

It may be mentioned here that Medical Education Minister  Dr. Sharan Prakash Patil, during his visit to the city on Oct. 27, had said that the foundation for the Cancer Centre will be laid in a month. Now the CM is likely to lay the foundation stone amidst his busy schedule during his visit to city on Dec. 22, it is learnt.
