CM to tour Kodagu today, Mysuru tomorrow

Mysuru: Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy will visit Kodagu district today.

The CM, who will land at Harangi dam helipad at 4.15 pm, will travel by road to Basavanahalli in Somwarpet taluk, where he will launch a slew of development works and distribute houses to Diddahalli evacuees. He will stay for the night either at Madikeri or at Kushalnagar.

Mysuru tour

The CM will take part in local programmes at Bylakuppe in Periyapatna taluk of Mysuru district and thereafter will proceed to Mysuru city to inaugurate the mega dairy of MyMUL at Alanahalli at 2.30pm.

Later, the CM will inaugurate new buildings of University of Mysore’s Law School, Organic Chemistry Department, Centenary Museum, Molecular Biology, Genetics and Genomes and Commercial Complex (Gangothri Downs) at a programme to take place at Crawford Hall at 3.30 pm. He will also lay the foundation stone for UoM’s proposed new building at the foot of Chamundi Hill and inaugurate UoM’s newly-introduced Distance Education Courses.

The CM will be felicitated at a programme to take place at Maharaja’s College Grounds at 5.30pm, following which he will leave for Bengaluru by road at 7.30 pm.
