Mysuru: As part of Makara Sankranti festival, the Co-optex showroom (The Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers Co-operative Society Ltd.,) located opposite More Mega Store on Narayana Shastri Road, Shivarampet in city, has extended 30 percent rebate on all handloom silk and cotton varieties, until Jan.31.

University of Mysore Registrar D. Bharathi will inaugurate the Sankranti Sales at 11 am on Jan.8. The Co-optex Showroom showcases handwoven products such as Kancheepuram and Arni silk sarees, designer silk sarees, cotton sarees, bedsheets, pillow covers, carpets, towels, petty coats, floor mat and readymade shirts.
