Co-ordination Committee to meet on July 1

Bengaluru: Even as the rumblings within the Congress camp is growing by the day against Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy’s attitude, the Congress-JD(S) coalition Government’s Co-ordination Committee has been convened to meet in Bengaluru on July 1.

Former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah is the Chairman of the Co-ordination Committee, formed by the coalition partners to ensure smooth functioning of the Government.

The meeting, just a day before the commencement of the budget session on July 2, assumes significance as the former CM has often conveyed his displeasure against some of Kumaraswamy’s unilateral decisions.

Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara, Committee convenor Danish Ali of JD(S), Congress Party in-charge of Karnataka K.C. Venugopal and other members of the Committee will attend.
