Mysuru: Well-known economist, former Union Law Minister and Rajya Sabha Member Dr. Subramanian Swamy will be the chief guest for the 27th Annual Codava National Day Celebrations scheduled to be held on Nov. 26 at Mahatma Gandhi Maidan in Madikeri.
A delegation from Codava National Council (CNC) headed by N.U. Nachappa recently met Dr. Swamy in Bengaluru in the presence of Sri Ravishankar Guruji at Art of Living Ashram and extended a formal invitation to him for the celebrations.
Dr. Swamy would be speaking about Codava Quest for Autonomy, inclusion of Codava Tribe in the schedule list of our Constitution and inclusion of Codava Thakk in the 8th Schedule of our Constitution and allied subjects.
Jagadeesh Shetty, All India General Secretary of Virat Hindu Sangham, will be the guest of honour.
