Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru is set to host CogniSENSE+ 2025, a global interdisciplinary conference that aims to promote cognitive health, hearing access and purposeful longevity among aging and diverse populations.
The event is organised by the School of Public Health at JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER) on July 10 and 11, in collaboration with JSS Medical College, bringing together experts across geriatrics, speech and hearing sciences, psychiatry, public health, psychology and ENT.
Over 250 participants from across the country will attend this two-day conference, which features: 5 international experts from University of Georgia, Ohio University, Oklahoma State University and Birmingham University; 17 national experts from premier institutions including NIMHANS, JSS AHER, AIISH and others.
The inaugural ceremony will be held tomorrow from 10.30 am to 11.15 am, in the presence of Dr. Radha Murthy, President, Dementia India Alliance, Dr. Deepti Navaratna, TV Raman Pai Chair Professor, National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) and Dr. P. Rajani, Deputy Director, Mental Health, Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka. The scientific agenda includes keynote talks, research presentations, panel discussions and solution showcases focused on: Dementia care innovations; Hearing rehabilitation; Cognitive neuroscience and assistive technologies; Mental well-being and social inclusion; Community-driven approaches to healthy aging.
