Col. C. K. Nayudu Trophy: Karnataka in command as Luvnith, Sujith shine

An unbroken second wicket partnership of 148-runs between opener Luvnith Sisodia (74 n.o, 10×4) and Sujith N. Gowda (74 n.o, 13×4), enabled hosts Karnataka to come closer to register a outright win over Tamil Nadu in the Col.C.K. Nayudu Trophy (2018-19) Round VIII-Elite Group A & B tie played at the SDNR Wadiyar Grounds here on Thursday.

Requiring 239-runs to win, Karnataka at close on the penultimate day, had scored 164 for one in 58 overs and needed 65 more runs Earlier, resuming at their overnight score of 179 for five in 57 overs, Tamil Nadu were bowled out for 259 in 85.2 overs. S. Radhakrishnan played a good knock of 96 (12×4, 1×6).
