Mysuru: Nadoja Dr. Hampa Nagarajaiah will release the books titled ‘Glimpses of the Cherished Values’ (Edited by Dr. Chandrashekaraiah) and ‘Suttur Suradhenu’ (Translated by Dr. Padma Ramachandrasharma), a collection of discourses of Suttur Mutt Seer, at a programme to be organised by JSS Mahavidyapeetha at Rajendra Bhavan in JSS Hospital premises at 6 pm on Sept.26.
Also, ‘Sri Shivarathreeshwara Award’ will be conferred on Sri Nirupadeesha Swamiji for his work titled ‘Siddarama Vilasa’ and Dr. C.S. Shivakumaraswamy for his work titled ‘Vedagmagalu mattu Chennabasavanna’ for the year 2017 and 2018 respectively, while artist M. Koravarakar will be conferred ‘Sri M. Veerappa Endowment Award’ and artist P.S. Hiremath will be conferred ‘Kalaguru D.V. Halabhavi Award’ on the occasion.
Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji and Sri Siddeshwara Swamiji will grace the occasion.
Former Additional Chief Secretary Chiranjeevi Singh will preside.
