Mysuru: Seeking immediate commissioning of medical services at the newly constructed  ESI Hospital building on KRS Road, members of SBM Manju Sneha Balaga staged a demonstration in front of the hospital here recently.

Addressing the protestors, Corporator SBM Manju said that there has been undue delay in the inauguration of the new hospital building and as such, the poor patients were deprived of medical facilities.

Stating that the ESI Hospital had only 60 beds and as such, the patients were forced to get treated at other hospitals, Manju demanded immediate installation of modern medical equipment and thus provide good health services to ESI beneficiaries.

Alleging that nobody is paying attention for upgrading facilities at the ESI Hospital, he alleged that ESI beneficiaries were not getting due medical attention in listed private hospitals too.

He urged the authorities to ensure immediate inauguration of the new building and commissioning of medical services.
