Complaint against girls for assaulting man, creating ruckus

Mysuru: Accusing two girls of assaulting a man and breaking the glass panes of an office, the owner of a de-addiction centre in city has lodged a complaint against the two girls at Vidyaranyapuram Police Station in city.

N.G. Umesh Kumar, proprietor of Jeevan Shrushti Foundation De-Addiction Centre in Srirampura is the person, who has lodged a complaint against the two girls.

One of the girls, on July 30 at about 9.50 pm, called the office of the de-addiction centre over the phone and asked for Umesh. One Mithun, who received the call, told that it was a wrong number and disconnected the  phone call.

At about 11 pm, the two girls along with others came in a car and asked one Manu, who was standing in front of the office the whereabouts of Umesh, who replied in the negative.

Irked over this, the two girls allegedly assaulted Manu, abused him using foul language, threatened to kill him and also damaged the glass panes of the office.

The whole incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the house opposite to the de-addiction centre office, it is said.

Based on the complaint by Umesh, Vidyaranyapuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
