Mysore/Mysuru: The week-long computer education exam conducted by the Karnataka Higher Secondary Education Examination Board (KHSEEB) began at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Vasanth Mahal in Nazarbad here this morning.
The exam is for SSLC qualified students, who underwent Computer training at KHSEEB- registered Computer Training Institutes in the State for two computer courses — Office Automation and Graphic Design.
Today on the first day, theory exam was held for both the courses and the practicals will be held in batches from tomorrow till Mar.3. This State-level exam is being held at all DIET Centres across the State.
Out of the 266 registered students, 257 attended today’s theory exam, according to DIET Principal Dr. K. Mahadevappa.
The City Police have clamped ban orders in 200 metre radius of the exam centre from 6 am to 6 pm on all the days till Mar.3 for smooth conduct of the exam.
