Mysuru:  Computer Society of India (CSI), Mysuru Chapter, had organised a function at Institution of Engineers-India (IEI) premises on JLB Road here on Monday evening to felicitate Mysore University Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar. Speaking on the occasion,  CSI Mysuru Chairman Dr. M. S. Veerendra Kumar recalled his service at Mysore Varsity along with Prof. Hemantha Kumar. He lauded the contribution of the VC, who has been a life member of CSI, in developing the Computer Science Department at Manasagangothri.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Hemantha Kumar said that he was just three months into the position and added that he has to shoulder a lot of responsibilities and expressed confidence in doing that.
