Computers stolen from Periyapatna’s GP office and Co-operative Society

Periyapatna: Burglars, who broke into Chittanahalli Gram Panchayat (GP) office and Agricultural Co-operative Society office at Chittanahalli in the taluk last night, have made away with a total of three computers.

While the burglars have decamped with two computers from the GP office, one computer has been stolen from the Co-op. Society office.

The thefts came to light this morning when the staff arrived at the offices to open them and saw the locks broken and the doors ajar. The staff then informed their higher-ups who rushed to the spot. Agricultural Co-op. Society CEO Ravi and Chittanahalli GP PDO Ravikumar have lodged a complaint with Periyapatna Police.

Periyapatna SI Ravikiran and staff, who reached the spot on receiving information, conducted mahazar and summoned Fingerprint experts and the Dog Squad to the spot.
