Concert at Vasudevacharya’s house

Mysore/Mysuru: Vid. R. Raghavaraman, a promising young vocalist from Bengaluru, will be presenting a Karnatak vocal concert at the heritage house of Mysore Vasudevacharya in city tomorrow (July 27) at 10.30 am. He will be accompanied by Vidu.  Prerana Praveen on violin and Vid.  B.S. Shubhang  on mridanga.

Profiles

Vid. Raghavaraman, a PU student now, is a disciple of Vid. R. Vasudevan in vocal and has learnt mridanga under the tutelage of Vid. Vasudeva Rao. He has won several prizes in music competitions held in Bengaluru and Chennai and has performed in various Sabhas.

Vidu. Prerana, a disciple of Vid. H.K. Narasimha Murthy (violin) and Dr. Sukanya Prabhakar (vocal), has performed in many concerts at sabhas in Mysuru.

Vid. Shubhang, who has learnt mridanga with Vid. H.L. Shivashankar Swamy and Vid. G.S. Ramanujam, is currently under the tutelage of Vid. Delhi Sairam. He has been performing with senior artistes in Mysuru since the last couple of years.
