Concert in memory of Dr. Rajkumar and S.P. Balasubrahmanyam

A melodious tribute to late Kannada matinee idol  Dr. Rajkumar and renowned playback singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam will be held at Jaganmohan Palace auditorium in city on July 19 at 5.30 pm.

The event, organised by Geeth Sangam Team, will present a delightful rendition of select evergreen Kannada film romantic songs, under the guidance of G. Kavitha Kamath. Renowned singers including Kavitha Kamath, Nityananda Kamath, Dr. Surendran, Dr. Ravindra Kumar, Dr. Bharat Raj, Chandrashekar, Dr. Bharathi, Jayalakshmi Naidu, Annu Moornadu and Vinayaka Bhat will perform during the musical evening. Entry to the event is free.

The event will also feature a special tribute to K.B. Ganapathy, Founder-Editor of Star of Mysore and Mysuru Mithra and legendary actress B. Saroja Devi who passed away recently.
