On the occasion of Air Force Day on Oct. 8, Fighter Pilot Group Captain Mandetira Medaiah Bopanna, decorated with Vishisht Seva Medal, was conferred with Vayu Sena Medal at Air Force Station Hindon, Uttar Pradesh, for professional ability and exceptional devotion to duty by Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Choudhari, PVSM, AVSM, VM, ADC, on behalf of the President of India (Commander-in-Chief of Indian Armed Forces).
