Confusing road junction sans sign boards

September 2, 2021

Sir,

With the installation of working traffic signal lights at Akashvani Circle on KRS Road in Yadavagiri, the issues faced by the motorists stand resolved to a certain extent while manoeuvring this junction. This is a junction of five roads and out of them two are supposed to be one-ways. Strictly monitoring one-way rule will definitely mitigate the woes faced by the motorists at this busy junction.

Unfortunately there are no clearly visible traffic sign boards at this junction to guide the motorists. The outcome of lack of sign board is that the motorists inadvertently enter the “one- way” road causing utter confusion to the free flow of traffic in both the directions.

The authorities concerned should immediately fix clearly visible traffic sign boards at this junction to guide the motorists.
