‘Cong. debacle in Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha seat temporary’

June 5, 2024

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru District Rural Congress Committee President Dr. B.J. Vijaykumar has said, “While the party candidate Sunil Bose has scored a tremendous victory in the LS elections from Chamarajanagar Constituency, the party has suffered a temporary setback in Mysuru-Kodagu LS Constituency with the defeat of its candidate M. Lakshmana.”

In a press release, Dr. Vijaykumar, who has extended his greetings to Bose upon his victory, has attributed the electoral success to the concerted fight of the party workers in the Assembly Constituencies of H.D. Kote, Nanjangud, Varuna and T. Narasipur falling under Chamarajanagar LS segment, where Bose has polled more votes.

The people of the country have handed out a significant and historical mandate against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and shall congratulate the people of the country for this,  he added.
